Earlier this year, Ferron resident Brynlee Pitchforth was the recipient of a trip of a lifetime to London through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, spurring Ferron City and the Pitchforth family to host a Make-A-Wish fundraiser in the form of a Halloween celebration over the weekend.

The festival consisted of hay rides, pumpkin painting, a chili cook off contest, a costume parade and more. The stage was also full of talent presentations throughout the evening.

During the event, Miss Utah Jesse Craig played a violin medley and spoke on her platform of community service. Other presentations include a witch dance from Becky’s Dance studio, talent numbers from reigning Emery County royalty members and the San Rafael Middle School cheerleaders. Chili and hotdogs could be purchased for dinner with cupcakes, caramel apples and popcorn balls also for sale.

Entrance to the Haunted Yard, owned by the Pitchforths, were also included in the fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
