The Children’s Justice Center hosted its 15th Annual Harvest Ball on Saturday at the Greenwell Inn.

The costume ball featured dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Dinner went for $30 per setting, and there was a $10 general admission charge for patrons attending the dance only.

Children’s Justice Center Director Shelley Wright said, “All of the proceeds that were made here tonight go to help the Children’s Justice Center.”

Wright said a committee chaired by Tana Bruno planned and organized this year’s event.

“We usually generate between $8,000 and $10,000,” Wright said. “The money is used to support the operating costs and the base cost of the Center. We use it to keep the doors open to the Emery County Children’s Center and the Carbon County Children’s Center.”

Wright guessed organizers came close to meeting their goal of 200 attendees.
