The USU Eastern Men’s Basketball team had the victory in their hands with less than three seconds on the clock. Ahead by three over Salt Lake Community College, they watched as the Bruins sank a three at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.
Eastern came out fast and strong but the Bruins clawed their way back in the game. By the half, it was knotted at 47. It remained a tight game throughout the contest until the OT period when another three settled the battle.
SLCC outscored the Eagles by three in the extra minutes to secure an 82-79 win over Eastern.
