Helicopter Paged to Accident on Highway 6

Authorities responded to an accident on Highway 6 around 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The crash occurred just east of Billy’s Mountain.

According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce, the accident involved a single vehicle U-Haul. The vehicle flipped for unknown reasons and went off the road.

Authorities discovered one person, conscious and alert, trapped in the vehicle. It is not currently known if others were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. A helicopter was paged to the scene for transport.

Travelers can expect minimal delays in the area.
