Emery Caring for Kids recently announced a list of ongoing items that are needed for local youngsters. Carbon and Emery Caring for Kids were founded by locals when it was brought to their attention that many children in both counties go home from school with no food to eat.
Dinners needed for Emery Caring for Kids are Chef Boyardee individual microwaveable meals, Kraft Mac and Cheese individual microwaveable meals, and individual tuna and cracker lunches.
Snacks that are always needed are granola bars, snack cracker packs and fruit snacks, all of any kind. Fruit cups and apple sauce of any kind are always accepted as well as any type of cereal and breakfast bars.
Donations are accepted at Magnuson Lumber, Farm Bureau in Castle Dale, JN Auto in Huntington, Emery Aquatic Center and Desertview Federal Credit Union in Huntington and Ferron.
