Friday, Sept. 22nd
Green River Daily Campground and Beach Trash Clean-up
9:30 AM to 4 PM
Meet at Swasey’s Boat ramp at 9:30 AM
Volunteers are needed to help clean-up the Green River!! We will start from Nefertiti and work our way to Swasey’s Boat ramp. Along this 7 mile stretch, we will clean-up as much trash as possible along the road, beaches and in the campgrounds. Volunteers will need to bring sturdy shoes, sunscreen, sun glasses, hat and lunch. Gloves, trash bags, water and snacks will be provided.
Saturday, Sept. 23rd
Green River Float and Shoreline Clean-up
9:30 AM to 4 PM
Meet at Swasey’s Boat Ramp at 9:30 AM
Volunteers are needed to float the Green River Daily. We will remove as much trash as we can from the shoreline, islands and along the river. Volunteers will need to bring their personal lifejackets, boats (IK, rafts, or hardshell kayaks), paddles or oars to participate. We are looking for individuals that have a paddle raft or raft and can take passengers. Participants will also need to bring sunscreen, sun glasses, hat and lunch. Gloves, trash bags, water and snacks will be provided.
