For the past year, Helper City’s Main Street has been shutting down on the first Friday of each month to bring the community together with music, gallery strolls, food and other fun events. This revived event has featured themes such as Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras, American Disco and Outlaw Days.
This month’s event celebrated properly with a 1963 theme featuring great food, cake tasting, a special bowling event at Gateway Lanes and more. The Carbon High Class of ’63 joined in the festivities as it celebrated a class reunion in conjunction with the First Friday event.
Those that dressed the part in their ’60s best were each awarded $50. Those lucky winners were Makai Rogers, Becky Colombo and others.
