Following a dedicated year of service on the Helper City Planning and Zoning Board, Dr. Tim Riley recently announced his resignation. The city thanked him for his efforts and hard work while Mayor Lenise Peterman also wished him the best in his future.
Dr. Riley’s resignation left the need to fill the vacancy on the board. This was conducted during the Dec. 6 Helper City Council meeting, when Vikki Ori was chosen. Ori, who is a branch manager at Washington Federal Credit Union, is cited as having a great deal of experience in regards to public service and the council believes that she will serve the community well in the new position.
“Join me in congratulating her for taking on this public service role,” Mayor Peterman said.
