Over the weekend of July 22-24, the long-anticipated re-opening of Helper City’s Main Street quietly took place. Citizens are now able to drive up and down the street after nearly half a year of the road being shut down for maintenance purposes.
Knife River, the company working on the improvements, have now moved up into the neighbor that consists of Welby Street, Racey Street, Janet Street and more. Different sections of the roads are closed as the company works tirelessly to finish the improvements. Signs are always posted as sections are closed off in order to guide citizens down different paths in or out of the neighborhood.
