As growth and improvement continues to spread through the city of Helper, progress was reported on a continuing project. Councilwoman Malarie Matsuda updated the community on the progress with the River Restoration Project.
“Lots of progress has been made with the River Restoration Project,” Matsuda explained.
Matsuda urged the community to check out the new recreation area that is located at the “Janet Diversion,” just north of Central Commission before the labyrinth. The area now has beautiful new staircases and swimming holes for the community to enjoy.
