The offices for Helper City will find a new home over the weekend as the city begins relocation on Friday.
According to Helper City Mayor Lenise Peterman, the Helper City Hall will close at 12 p.m. Friday to begin the move. The offices won’t be moved far as they make their way down the city’s Main Street to inhabit the former Wells Fargo building.
Helper City received the former bank building as a donation from Wells Fargo in 2017. Courtney Dyer of Wells Fargo attended a city council meeting in early 2017 to donate the building to the city. Dyer stated then that she was pleased to donate the building to continue supporting the community despite closing its doors for banking services.
The Helper City offices will reopen in their new location on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Those requiring city services should plan accordingly with the scheduled closure, according to Peterman.
