Mayor Lenise Peterman announced on Monday that Helper City was recently awarded with even more funding for the Main Street beautification project.

This funding was received from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, which is known as the philanthropic arm of Rocky Mountain Power. In 2018, the foundation awarded more than $1 million to local nonprofit organizations. The foundation’s mission, through charitable investments, is to support the growth and vitality of communities.

The foundation is one of the largest utility-endowed foundations that is located in the United States and was created in 1988 by PacifiCorp.

“We appreciate the kind funding and look forward to spring to continue our Main Street efforts,” Mayor Peterman remarked. “Special thanks to Deb Dull from Rocky Mountain Power.”
