First Fridays continue tonight in Helper.
With the boom of new businesses opening their doors on main street, Helper hosts First Fridays on the first Friday of every month giving the public an opportunity to experience the spirit of the community. January’s event will be today, January 4, 2013 with fun, food, and music. All galleries and businesses will be open and ready to serve. Grab some grub from Balance Rock, Pistol Petes, or Marsha’s Sammich Shop, then stop into some of the unique stores like Iron Horse Antiques, and Apricots on Main. Eldon Miller (VP of the Carbon Historical Society) will also give a lecture on the History of Helper at the Lily Gallery on Main at 8p.m. The event will be from 6 p.m. -9 p.m. and if you have questions, call Mike James at 435-820-832
