The Helper Little League opened with a bang as the Rockies beat the Royals 12-3 in five innings Saturday.
The Rockies jumped out to an 11-0 lead that was complimented by outstanding pitching efforts by multiple pitchers.
The Royals fought back in the fifth inning as they plated three runs before the end of the game.
The game had a great turnout, and both teams displayed good sportsmanship and effort.
