Construction is currently underway on Helper City’s main street. Most of the street is closed due to a project that has been running for three years. Knife River is the company that is working hard to improve the water and sewer in Helper.

Although the current construction is causing the road to be closed off, ETV 10 News has been informed by Helper City that all of the businesses located on Main Street that were open for business before construction started are still currently open for business.

Many of the businesses, such as Balance Rock Eatery, Happiness Within and Hand Candy Tattoo, have entrances in the back for convenience. Some even boast parking spaces. Businesses such as Hand Candy Tattoo have posted photos to their Facebook pages showing where available parking on the road behind Main Street are for customers.

It is encouraged to still visit all of the Helper Main Street businesses throughout the time of the water and sewer improvement projects. The sidewalks are still open for use.
