The Emery County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) reported earlier that a body had been discovered in Emery County on the afternoon of Thursday, May 2.
The body was located on a cut-off road between Mohrland and Hiawatha, and the deceased was identified as 61-year-old William Randy Jones of Price. That discovery has led to a homicide investigation.
ECSO personnel have been working diligently the past few days identifying person(s) of interest and conducting interviews. The investigation is ongoing and search warrants are being prepared. We will update our story after arrest(s) have been made and charges filed.
