Nearly 100 middle school and high school students representing their various schools had the opportunity to participate in Regional Honor Choir recently hosted at USU Eastern.

The guest clinician for the middle school students was Carol Biggler, a former teacher in the Carbon area and also a former member of the Tabernacle Choir. She now is involved with Utah State University. The accompanist for this group was Sue Ann Taylor.

Selected students from Helper, Mont Harmon, Canyon View and San Rafael Middle Schools performed at the concert on Saturday afternoon. Directing and instructing the high school choir was Dr. Steve Meredith from Southern Utah University. He is now the Vice President of Southern Utah University but previously was the music chairman at the university.

Elise Tuttle accompanied the high school choir. Students from Carbon, Emery, Whitehorse and Richfield high schools comprised the performing choir.
