San Rafael Middle School (SRMS) had its annual honor society induction ceremony on Oct. 19. Honor Society students must maintain a 3.75 cumulative GPA throughout their years at SRMS. The program began with Dayton Farley leading everyone in the pledge. Liza Roberts and Lara Barnett, the advisors, welcomed parents to the program.
The program continued with students performing many talents. The talents were Hallie Frandsen, ballet routine; Ashlyn Johansen, pom routine; Sydni Lake, piano solo; Hailey Brown, art display; Kenley Taylor, piano solo; Alyssa Jorgensen, vocal solo; Rebecca Jewkes, French horn solo; Arena Morgan, trumpet solo; and Alivia Daley, ukulele/vocal solo.
The program continued with the officers doing a candle lighting ceremony. The officers are as follows: Hallie Frandsen, President; Hailey Brown, Vice President; Ashlyn Johansen, Reporter; and Brielle Tuttle, Secretary. All honor society members then recited a pledge and received certificates.
Congratulations to all students that were inducted into the SRMS honor society.
