The Carbon County Fair hosted Hooves & Honkey-Tonk during the fun filled weekend at the fairgrounds. The event started with the Bucking Bull Futurity, followed by Mini Bull Riders and then a honkey-tonk dance to finish off the night at the Grandstands Arena.
Bulls attended to compete from five different states and Funny Barrelman, JT Stevens, helped keep the event safe for all the riders. Local Dalton Allred was the Champion Open bull rider of the evening.
“We at Branded Cactus Productions are just so happy to bring western events to Carbon and Emery counties and can’t thank the community enough for their support,” said event organizer Afton McCourt.
For the youth bull riders’ event, Amy Housekeeper with Blanton Mini Bulls was the contractor. Brodee Ring was the winner in the Senior division, Toby Blanton won in the Junior division and Oly Blanton won in the Walk Trot Bull.
After the rodeo concluded, the arena dance was a great way to finish the night, as locals showed off their square dances and do-si-dos under the moonlight.
