The human-caused Horse Canyon Fire, reported on Thursday, July 4, has now been fully contained.
Upon detection, the fire was estimated to cover between 20 and 30 acres. The response included deployment of the Cedar City Hotshots, a Type 2 hand crew, as well as Type 1 and BLM Type 3 helicopters.
Utah Fire Info confirmed containment on Saturday, with the fire having burned approximately 25 acres.
