The Carbon County Recreation Doubles Summer League came to an end after seven weeks of play on Thursday evening as eight teams competed in the end-of-the-league tournament. Teams were placed in the tournament bracket by the number of wins they earned throughout the league.
For the third year in a row, Ryan Olsen and Marty Beckman took the championship in an “if” game against Tommy Martinez and Andy Sandoval.
Next up for local horseshoe players is a co-ed league. More information will be made available about the league at a later date.
