Press Release
Price, Utah, October 27, 2018: Between 200-300 individuals were entertained with food, potion demonstrations, a candy cannon and a variety of other fun activities and prizes Saturday to celebrate those with special needs. The event, hosted by Innovative Harbor, was held for the special needs community in Price and to announce their new office location at 202 North 200 East in Price.
Attendees were able to eat hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and other treats. Activities included an exciting potion demonstration, ring toss, cake walk, pin the nose on the pumpkin, pie in the face and bowling, among other things. Also, a candy cannon was used many times throughout the event to rain candy on the excited participants.
“We wanted to give back to the special needs community and give them a fun Halloween experience with their friends and families,” said Amelia Owen, who is Innovative Harbor’s general manager in Price. “We are so pleased with the turnout and believe everyone had a great time.”
Innovative Harbor intends to host events such as this periodically throughout the year.
“We could not do these events without our great staff and the many volunteers who helped,” said Owen. “We have an incredible team here in Price who do so much for the community. It was great to work together to host such a wonderful event for those in our community with special needs.”
