Local residents were delighted by Huntington’s Heritage Days recently as activities, entertainment and more filled the city.
Beginning over the weekend, the annual Heritage Days Rodeo kicked off the festivities. Kids were invited to get in on the fun with a kids’ rodeo before the main event. A dance followed the action in the rodeo arena.
Sunday boasted a patriotic program by the Huntington Glee Club. The fun continued on Monday dinner in the park, contests and live entertainment. A cornhole tournament capped off the activities.
Tuesday brought ice cream, hypnotism and a bike parade together for another action-packed day. The festivities were rounded out on the Fourth of July with a parade, breakfast and fireworks.
