Each year, the Price City Progress Committee bands together and traverses Price’s streets to suss out the best yards.
These yards are then presented with the All Spruced Up award, which comes complete with a yard sign that is tacked down to show off the yard and yard owner’s accomplishments to neighbors, family and visitors alike. They are chosen through certain criteria, including but not limited to a well-trimmed curb and gutter, neatness, uniqueness and a display of water conservation.
For 2019, the inaugural awards were given on Tuesday evening. These awards, distributed by Price City Councilwoman Terry Willis, were presented to local proud yard owners Heather Guerra and Bill and Vicky Fountaine.
The chance to have your yard featured as one of Price’s finest will come again soon. Alongside the All Spruced Up awards, the committee also awards yards during Halloween and Christmas for their festive, spooky and cheerful decorations.
