Trails End Realty opened its doors wide and welcomed the community to its first annual seminar on buying and/or selling real estate in 2019 on Wednesday evening.

Beginning promptly at 5 p.m., those that attended the free seminar were welcomed with pizza, fruit, veggies, soda and other snack items. Swag bags were also found on each seat complete with blankets, notepads, candy, pens and various other goodies from Trails End Realty and the many other sponsors of the evening.

The first speaker of the evening was Ryan Petersen with In & Out Inspections. He spoke about what exactly takes place during one of his inspections and also detailed other services provided such as radon testing, mold testing and sewer line inspections.

Next, the new owners of South Eastern Utah Title Company, Jane Lancaster and Julie Green, spoke. The duo took time to explain the ins and outs of title insurance, what to expect and what it covers overall. Annie Houghton and Brittney Garff with Professional Title Services, a business that also specializes in title insurance, also introduced themselves during the seminar.

Vikki Ori with Washington Federal was also a speaker of the seminar, briefing those in attendance on the institution, loans and mortgage lenders. Without going into great detail, Ori walked the crowd through the process of a loan and what to expect.

Trails End Realty broker/owner Janet Roberts took time to introduce her team of realtors, stating that they are much more akin to family. She proudly stated that her team always goes above and beyond. Roberts also thanked Vickie Mower and Kathy Fausett with Bank of Utah, although the two could not be in attendance, for their outstanding work in the local area.

The conclusion of the night featured a raffle. Prizes such as mugs of candy, homemade decorations and even a big screen TV were given, thanks to the many sponsors. Roberts encouraged all attendees to stay after and confer with a realtor on buying or selling.

Sponsors of the seminar were Eastern Utah Community Credit Union, Washington Federal, Hometown Flooring, Bank of Utah, Professional Title Services, In & Out Inspections, South Eastern Utah Title Company, Johnson’s Appraisal, C&T Drivetrain Systems Auto Body and Towing, Sutherlands, Michaelangelo Monuments, Pace Appliance/Seth Christiansen, Les Olson Company Ricci Camberlango, We Mean Klean LLC, Big Don’s Pizza, Timothy’s Painting & Tile and Breinholt’s Southeast Paint & Design.
