Carbon County Sheriff’s Office Press Release
An inmate in the Carbon County Jail was pronounced dead at Castleview Hospital in Price on Friday from an apparent suicide.
Detectives from the Price City Police Department and the Emery County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a joint investigation as per agency policy. Preliminary investigative results do not indicate foul play and next of kin has been notified.
The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the inmate’s name or any further information at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
