The City of Huntington invites bids for a City Park/Rodeo Grounds ADA Improvements to meet federal requirements. The City Park is located at 40 East Center Street, Huntington Utah 84528 and the Rodeo Grounds is located at 240 West State Road 31, Huntington, Utah 84528.
The work includes removal of existing concrete, dirt and grass and installation of new concrete flat work in sidewalks and ADA ramps. An untreated 5” base for any concrete will also need to be installed. Job will also include the fabrication and installation of metal handrails at both locations.
This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected.
Bidding documents and specifications may be obtained from the Huntington City Hall at 20 South Main, Huntington, Utah 84528 beginning September 4, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
A mandatory walk through will be held on September 18, 2019 meeting at Huntington City Hall at 11:00 a.m.

Sealed bids will be received at the Huntington City Office 20 south Main Street, P.O. Box 126, Huntington, Utah 84528 on or before October 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Bids will be publicly opened and read on October 11, 2019 at 11:15 a.m. The bid will be awarded at the Huntington City council meeting to commence at 6:30 p.m. on October 16, 2019 in the city council chamber located at 20 South Main, Huntington, Utah.
Bid bond must accompany each bid to be considered.
