James Ezell Sentenced to Prison on Two Charges

James Ezell appeared before Seventh District Court Judge George Harmond Monday morning for sentencing in regards to an incident that occurred on May 16 in Helper.

According to reports, Ezell was reportedly engaged in a domestic violence altercation with his girlfriend. A man allegedly tried to interfere in the altercation, which resulted in the man sustaining injuries from Ezell that required medical attention.

On Monday, Ezell was sentenced to two terms of 1-15 years in the Utah State Prison which will run consecutive to each other. Charges included aggravated assault and burglary, both being felony charges.
