Born October 7, 1983 (Branson, Missouri)

Died August 26, 2021 (Wellington, Utah)

Jesse entered this world just as he left it, early and fighting for his life.

Born in Branson, Missouri and raised just south in Forsyth, he loved growing up with his many brothers and sisters in the Ozarks, his small stature being overshadowed by his giant personality. He was quick to make friends wherever he went, and although his physical struggles from birth were challenging, Jesse never let that keep him from his goals.

In school, never one to accept being told, “you can’t do it”, Jesse turned heads by being an exceptional athlete in baseball, basketball, and track. Even more jaw dropping was when he would take the stage at the annual “Pops Concerts”, to sing with his award winning choir and perform choreographed dances. It was there that he met and serenaded his first love, Danielle Sykes.

Soon after high school, they were married and created two beautiful children, Jesse Jr. & Allie Marie. His family was his whole world, and he loved being a father.

Many would comment on how hard of a laborer Jesse was, so blessed to work construction with his father and brother, his specialty quickly became concrete work.

As time passed, Jesse’s mental health began to decline, so in addition to treatment, he sought relief by self medicating, which led to dependency.

After separating from his wife, Jesse endeavored to turn his life around and once again become the father his kids deserved, by temporarily moving to Utah to be with family.

Jesse worked hard–and fought harder–to overcome his inner demons, in order to reunite with his children. He gained employment, loved being an uncle, outdoor sports and recreation. Jesse’s other unique identifiers included collecting things “he might use someday”, rarely being seen without a tattered hat on, seeking new ways to antagonize OSHA, and an endless library of hilarious voice impersonations. He even found romantic love again, and dedicated himself with the strong passion that he was known for.

Unfortunately, unable to overcome the hurdles before him, his illnesses had made a resurgence, ending in the accidental loss of his life.

He is preceded in death by so many family members and friends, including his paternal and maternal grandparents, his brother Richard Weber, and his sweet momma Melissa Dawn Bennett-Bentley, in whose lap he’s now sitting comfortably.

He is survived by his children Jesse Jr and Allie, father, Felix/Archie (Rena) Archibeque, brothers, Jacob (Heather) Archibeque, Andy (Angie) Peters, sisters Brenda Francis, Juanita Gish, Melanie Archibeque-Clark (Josh), Megan Archibeque-Marshall (Jason), sister-in-law Kirsten, and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Those who remain, family and friends who endlessly gave their strength and tools to help Jesse return to them, will always feel the hole left by his passing.  Please submit any photos, memories, or stories you have of Jesse to his Facebook page, for all to enjoy.

A graveside service will be held at Snapp Cemetery – Forsyth, Missouri, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
