Delta, Colorado resident Joe Lindt passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at his residence. He was 71 years of age.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., November 28, 2014 at Taylor Service Chapel in Delta, Colorado. Interment will follow in Mesa View Cemetery in Delta. Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 prior to the service.
Joe was born on September 28, 1943 to Pete and Kathyrine (Mosher) Lindt in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Joe was a hard worker for Gates Rubber Co., Montrose Vo-Tech and IIG (Mesa Insuation). He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and riding 4-wheelers. His sense of humor was contagious and laughter was never an issue in his presence. Most of all, Joe loved his family by being a great supporter and was there whenever needed.
Joe is survived by his wife, Barbara Lindt of Delta, Colorado; sons: Pete Lindt of Elbert, Colorado and Trevor (Rosie) Lindt of Price, Utah; daughter Paula Lindt, also of Price, Utah; son David Henderson of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and daughter Dawn Gray of Parachute, Colorado. Together, Joe and Barbara share numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
