Social media is buzzing with the news of a new Miss Emery County. Last July, Ashlun Clark was crowned the 2019-20 Miss Emery County. She shared a recent post in response to giving up her crown.

“Part of life is doing what’s not only best for you, but what’s best for the people around you,” Clark shared. “I’ve decided to hand down my title of Miss Emery. I love every single one of my girls with my whole heart. I wouldn’t change being around them for anything. The time I’ve had to spend with them in my community was priceless to me. My heart is not in this for the scholarship or competition part.”

She continued, stating that she loves the county and the girls within the organization that she spent time with. Clark then thanked everyone for their support and for giving her a great experience.

The first attendant to Miss Clark was Jordynn Wolford and she will now represent Emery County as she takes the crown. Wolford is excited to represent the county at the Miss Utah competition later this spring.

“I am so excited to represent my county at Miss Utah this year,” she shared. “I look forward to continue my service to this county in my new role.”

Wolford concluded her announcement by thanking everyone for their continued support to the Miss Emery County Organization.
