JR’s Stop N Go and Diner opened in Castle Dale in June, and has been working to expand ever since.
This family business is owned by Dinia Rich and family of Orangeville. The full service diner is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It features a $1 pizza slice from 12 to 1 p.m. on school days for students and a $5.99 value meal which includes a choice of three menu items.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the diner features large portions and 100% fresh angus beef. Owner Roger added that this makes a tight margin, but they are trying to help the tight budgets of their customers.
The Stop N Go has four blends of gasoline and diesel 24 hours per day. They are also an outlet for U-Haul trailers. Coffee, sodas and snacks are available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. They also appreciate a large early morning coffee crew from all parts of the county.
Roger Rich stated that they are “For locals, by locals,” as he was born and raised in Emery County. They have 10 employees and are helping them build careers by training chefs, waiters and clerks.
