The Dinos hosted Juab on senior night in the second leg of the important series. Ty Anderson singled to lead off the first inning and then stole second. Braxton Bennett’s single brought Anderson home for the first run of the game.
Unfortunately for the Dinos, they were only able to record one more hit in the game. Juab tied the game in the second and took the lead in the third. The Wasps went on to push across six runs in the contest, including three runs in the fifth. Carbon lost their home finale, 6-1.
Carbon (8-12, 6-4 Region 14) will play an exhibition game on Wednesday at Salem Hills (15-5, 6-2 Region 10). Then, the Dinos will gear up for the state tournament on Saturday.
