Carbon County’s July Employee of the Month was announced as Shelley Wright during the commission meeting on Wednesday evening.
Carbon County Human Resources Director Rose Barnes presented the honor to kick off the meeting. Wright was thanked for 15 years of service to the county and its residents through the Carbon County Family Support and Children’s Justice Center.
Barnes said that Wright is “a wonderful person, inside and out, approachable, and she’s dependable.”
When Wright herself spoke before the commissioners, she mentioned how appreciative she is for all the people who work with her and around her. She was honored and grateful for the recognition and words of praise she received during the meeting.
