Fair goers at this year’s event in Emery County witnessed a special treat as a kangaroo show took place multiple times throughout the annual festivities.
Carolyn Lantz brought her Aussie Kingdom from Colorado to educate people about kangaroos and Australian Outback. Her free show took spectators on a world tour with different desert animals and habitats.
Lantz’s kangaroos are eight years old, but they can grow up to 15 years of age. The audience was able to see, hear and touch the native Australian animals. At the end of the show, those in attendance were able to pet a baby kangaroo.
