Woods Cross, UT – Kelly Charles Nattress
The world lost an amazing man on February 21, 2019 when he passed away unexpectedly.
He was born June 2, 1955 in Salt Lake City to the parents of Charles Nattress and Drew Fisher of Bountiful, Utah. Kelly was an avid lover of the outdoors where he enjoyed hiking, golfing, gardening, fishing, mountaineering, rock climbing and ice climbing. Some of Kelly’s greatest climbing accomplishments include Mt. Ranier and Mt. Aconcagua in South America. Kelly served on the Davis County Search and Rescue for many years, for 2 of these years he served as Commander. Kelly just celebrated his 40 year service anniversary for Albertsons Dist. Ctr. where he planned on retiring from this year. Kelly has spent much of the last 13 years restoring a cabin in Joe’s Valley. But what he enjoyed most was spending time with his 10 grandchildren Ashley (Robby), Brock, Bryson, Preston, Christian, Paisley, Remington, Makena, Cyler and Lexi. He also had 2 grandchildren waiting for him in heaven, Cyle and Kylee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eileen Knighton, father in law, Elmer Larsen. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shelly, his sister Karen (Dave) Gilmore, Daughter Karly (JJ) Van Komen, Son, Josh Nattress, Daughter, Crystal (Tyler) Hover.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. prior to services.
