Local youth participated in Kids’ Fishing Day at Gigliotti Pond in Helper on Saturday. Utah Division of Wildlife Resources provided rods, reels and instruction to those who needed it while the US Forest Service provided a fish cleaning station for the event.
Following a morning of fishing fun, children were treated to a prize furnished by DWR. Most children walked away with a new fishing pole and reel.
