The annual Kiwanis Kid’s Day in the Park is scheduled to kick off Saturday September 15th at 10 a.m.В Location for this year’s event is the Washington Park next to the Desert Wave Pool.В Members of the local Kiwanis Club will be passing out free hot dogs, drinks and ice cream to the kids and the park will be filled with games, bouncers and other activities for the kids.В This annual event is free to kids 12 and under.В The club also gives away approximately 30 bicycles in a drawing at the end of the event.

This event is made possible through the generosity of the community that supports the annual fund raisers of the community.В The radio auction held on the stations of Castle Country Radio, KOAL 750 AM, KARB 98.3 FM & KRPX 95.3 FM the first Sunday of April every year and the Rubber Ducky Race held in Scofield during Pleasant Valley Days are the two major fundraisers for the club.
Members of the club would like to invite children from Carbon and Emery Counties to join them in the park on September 15th from 10am until 2pm.
