Cinch, a western clothing and boots company, is a national sponsor of high school and junior high school rodeo. Each year, it chooses a high school and junior high all-star team at the state finals. The team consists of the top athletes in each of the competitive events.
Korby Christiansen, who participates in rough stock, roping and racing events, was chosen as the all-star in the boys’ goat tying event. The all-stars received an all-star team shirt and recognition as a team member. Christiansen will be competing at the junior high rodeo nationals in Lebanon, Tenn. later this month in goat tying as well as team roping.
