The Harlem Wizards recently made their way to Price, visiting local schools and gathering the community at USU Eastern’s BDAC that evening.

Through this event, hosted by AJB Broadcasting and USU Eastern, local radio station KUSA was able to make a sizable donation to the local nonprofit organization Carbon Caring for Kids.

Carbon Caring for Kids is an organization that strives to ensure that no youngster in the area goes home hungry or without food to get them through weekends and holiday breaks.

On Friday morning, KUSA presented the nonprofit with a check for $1,000 from the Wizards event. Sponsors for this event were USU Eastern, Castleview Hospital, Sutherlands, the Care Coalition, Pine Top Medical and Castle Country Hobby and Pawn and Laundry.

“Carbon Caring for Kids is very near and dear to our hearts at the radio station. We have donated time and resources in the past and we will continue to do so in the future,” KUSA shared.
