In nail-biting Region 12 action, the Carbon High Lady Dinos took on the Juab Wasps at home and battled hard before admitting defeat after five sets.
Juab opened strong by taking the first two sets 25-5 and 25-18. Carbon, however, responded by pushing through to take the next two, 25-23. The victory was decided after the fifth, handed to the Wasps 15-5.
Following a break, the Lady Dinos will travel to take on Richfield Tuesday evening. Varsity action is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
