Carbon hosted the Providence Hall Patriots on Thursday night as the Lady Dinos came screaming out the gates and started the game on a 19-0 run. Providence only managed to score one point in the first quarter.
Carbon smothered the competition all night with a high intensity defense that went along with an effective night on offense. They shot 50% from the field and 53% from behind the arc. The game was never close and Lady Dinos held a 40-point lead throughout the game.
Jordan Bianco, Kaytlyn Cripps and Abbie Saccomanno all scored double-digits for the Lady Dinos with 14, 13 and 10, respectively. Carbon had 21 steals on the night as a team and cruised to a 69-27 victory for its second league win.
The Lady Dinos (7-2, 2-0 Region 14) will have the weekend off but will then have their first road region game on Dec. 18 at Delta (4-4, 2-0 Region 14).
