The Carbon Lady Dinos are in the midst of a four-game slide, losing a pair of close games this week to 5A American Fork and 2A Grand by a combined four runs.
Playing back-to-back games on Wednesday and Thursday, American Fork was first up for the Dinos. Kinley Nelson took the loss in the circle and the only extra-base hit came off the bat of McKenna Sorenson. Carbon lost the game 8-5.
The team then traveled to Moab on Thursday to take on the Lady Red Devils of Grand High School. In a close 3-2 eight-inning loss, the Lady Dinos couldn’t snap their three-game losing streak, instead making it four.

Carbon (7-5, 0-1 Region 12) will begin region action on Tuesday with a road game at Richfield (5-4, 0-0 Region 12)
