The Carbon High School Lady Dinos gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and lost to Wasatch 11-10 Thursday in Heber City.
Carbon scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 10-6 lead, but Wasatch battled back to score four runs over the last two frames.
The game featured 28 total hits, including nine for extra bases. Alexis Oliver and Megan Tubbs both doubled for Carbon, and Kenzie Cave had a home run. Tubbs also recorded a triple.
The loss dropped Carbon to third place in Region 10.
The Lady Dinos’ next contest will be at Union on Tuesday afternoon.
