For the second straight game, the Lady Dinos put the ball in the net nine different times. After a 9-1 win over Gunnison Valley, Carbon rolled over South Summit by a score of 9-2 to end the preseason.
Junior Ryan Brady led the Lady Dinos with a hat trick and one assist. Additionally, three separate players had two goals and at least one assists in the contest, including Grace Broadbear (senior), Thalyn Lyman (sophomore) and Beverly Lancaster (freshman). Broadbear was also a great facilitator and led the team with three assists.
Carbon ended the preseason with a 4-1 recored and will have nearly two weeks off until region play begins. The Lady Dinos will host their two opening region games, first against South Sevier on Sept. 3 and then San Juan on Sept. 5.
