The Lady Dinos dominated in their home opener on Tuesday, taking down Gunnison Valley 2-0.
Carbon got off to a quick start, notching the only goals of the game in the first half while putting up a strong defense against the Bulldogs.
Neither team was able to connect with the net after the break, giving Carbon the 2-0 win.
Grace Broadbear and Molly Banks each connected with the net to secure the win. Ronni Williams led the defense and recorded the shutout.
The Dinos, currently 1-1 on the season, will continue their pre-conference schedule with a game against South Summit on Friday. Carbon will travel to take on the Wildcats with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
