The Carbon Lady Dinos ran past their first two opponents in Fruita, Colo. over the weekend before losing to host Fruita High School in the final game on Saturday.
Carbon outscored its first two opponents, Palisade and Grand Junction, 103-41 before Fruita handed the Lady Dinos a 49-32 loss to end the tournament.
Jordan Bianco connected on eight three-pointers in the tournament, averaging nine points per game. Kelsey Sorensen averaged 11.3 ppg in the tournament while Jodi Noyes averaged 8.6 ppg and a team high 10 rebounds per game.
Carbon (5-2, 0-0 Region 14) will begin Region 14 action on Tuesday against the Juab Wasps (2-3, 0-0 Region 14) in Nephi. The game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10.
