The Lady Dinos played a round of golf at Mt. View on Tuesday, March 12. Although Carbon finished with a lower score than last week, the Lady Dinos ended up second behind Providence Hall.
Jordan Bianco again had the lowest score for Carbon with 91. Morgan M. from Providence Hall shot the day’s low with an 84. Aubrey Fausett shot a 99 for the Lady Dinos to get under 100.
“Every girl played better and we scored better as a team. That is always a goal in every tournament,” said head coach Kenji Otani. “Providence just played better than us today and that happens.”
Carbon ended with a 396 score, six strokes behind Providence at 390. The Lady Dinos still hold a two-stroke lead over the Lady Patriots in the region competition.
“I’m proud of my girls and I know we have great possibilities,” concluded Otani.
The Lady Dinos will play their next round in Delta at the Sunset View Golf Course on Tuesday, March 19.
