After a 48-8 first half, the Carbon Lady Dinos cruised to the 72-21 victory against Maeser Prep Tuesday night, earning their eighth Region 14 win.
Previously undefeated Union took a loss at Juab Tuesday night as well, slipping to just a game up on the Lady Dinos in the Region 14 standings. Carbon and Juab will face off this Tuesday in Price with a possible shared Region 14 championship on the line.
Against Maeser Prep, four Lady Dinos scored in double figures with Jordan Bianco leading the team with 12 points, all of which came from beyond the three point line. Next up were Jodi Noyes and Abbie Saccomanno who both chipped in 11. Kelsey Sorenson added 10 points and five rebounds.
Carbon (14-5, 8-2 Region 14) has just two games remaining on its schedule with games next week against Union on Tuesday and at American Leadership on Thursday to conclude the regular season.
