The Carbon High volleyball team traveled to Lindon on Tuesday afternoon to face off against Maeser Prep Academy.
The Lions snagged the win by one set during the match against the Dinos. Maeser came out strong in the first set, taking it 25-15. Carbon answered in the following set, taking it 25-22.
Maeser came back in the third for 25-19 before trading off and giving Carbon the fourth, 25-19. The fifth and final set saw Maeser put away the win, finishing with a 15-5 set.
The Dinos will next go head-to-head with the Eagles from American Leadership Academy. The match will take place on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Carbon High School.
